About me

Hi – I’m Bec, a Chartered Psychologist and expert in human science. I’ve spent years researching why people behave the way they do - how they make decisions, solve problems, and communicate.... and why they get it wrong. Nothing makes me happier than being able to use this knowledge and experience to make my clients’ lives easier.

I qualified in 2004 when I graduated from Cranfield University with an MSc in Applied Psychology. Initially, I had planned to pursue a career in consultancy. However, I changed my mind after discovering the diverse research prospects available at Cranfield. I stayed there for 15 years, eventually leaving in 2019 to establish Mind Science, bringing along my extensive knowledge and experience to tackle new challenges in industry and government.

During my time in academia, I successfully delivered a wide range of projects for governments, regulators and industry both nationally and internationally:

My approach

My approach is simple – I am not an expert in your field, and I cannot tell you what to do. I work collaboratively with you, bringing together your experience and my expertise to translate the science of human performance into practice.

I will encourage you to challenge the way you do things, to think differently and be more creative in finding optimal solutions. It won’t always be easy – but the results can be game changing.
